I'm fighting for changes in reporting policies to begin to see people as individuals when making decisions to report delinquent or missed payments to credit bureaus.
Because one mistake, one hardship or one missed payment should never define a person's worth or impact their future.

A missed payment can stay on your report for up to seven years from the date of the first missed payment.
You can and should dispute the reporting, however, only if there was an error in the reporting will it be removed. If the fact is that a payment was missed then it remains on your report for 7 years. That is what this movement is all about. Life happens and facts have people behind them.
The current credit system scores measure risk not circumstances. A 30-day late payment an cause a sharp drop, in my case it has been over 100 points. This is what has to change!
